INTRODUCTION OF WW2 MILITARY TAGS
The WWII"(World War 2) Military Tags are the original dog tags used by the U.S. army during World War II. These tags have been manufactured with the notched edge, according to the military specifications of the period which included World War II and the Korean War.
The WWII Tags feature:
- Matte Surface, which can be important in certain situations where visibility needs to be minimized.
- Notched Edge, the reminiscence of old Graphotype dog tag stamping
- Better scratch-resistant which can help to maintain the appearance of the tags over time, even with regular wear and tear.
The tags are crafted from durable 304 stainless steel and are available in two formats:
- 2 tags with different information
- 2 tags with the identical information
The information on the dog tags is embossed for superior durability as opposed to engraving, which can fade over time.

You can customize your dog tag with up to 5 rows of text, each of which can contain a maximum of 14 characters.
Available characters include the following:

1 character is equivalent to 1 letter/ 1 number/ 1 space/ 1 punctuation mark.
You can either have the same message on both tags; or a different message on each tag.
US Armed Forces typically carry two identical tags containing:
U.S. Air Force Tag 1:
Row 1: Surname, first name, middle initial
Row 2: Social Security Number, followed by "AF" indicating branch of service.
Row 3: Blood Group
Row 4: "blank"
Row 5: Religion
U.S. Air Force Tag 2:
Row 1: Surname
Row 2: First name and middle initial
Row 3: Social Security Number, followed by "AF" indicating branch of service.
Row 4: Blood Group
Row 5: Religion
U.S. Marine Corps:
Row 1: Surname
Row 2: First and middle initials, blood group
Row 3: Social Security Number with no dashes and no spaces
Row 4: Branch ("USMC"),Gas Mask size (S-small, M-medium, L-large)
Row 5: Religious preference (or "NO PREFERENCE") or medical allergy if red medical tag.
U.S. Navy:
Row 1: Surname, first name, middle initial
Row 2: Social Security Number with no dashes or spaces followed immediately by "USN", space, blood group
Row 3: "blank"
Row 4: Religion (or "NORELPREF" if none)
U.S. Army:
Row 1: Surname
Row 2: First name, middle initial
Row 3: Social Security Number
Row 4: Blood type
Row 5: Religion
U.S. Coast Guard:
Row 1: Surname, first name, middle initial
Row 2: Social Security Number no dashes or spaces followed immediately by branch (i.e. 123456789 USCG)
Row 3: Blood group
